School groups
Whether you want a one-time visit to discover an emblematic part of the heritage of Carpentras, or a visit based around a specific theme in relation to the school curriculum, visit cycles or long-term projects, the Inguimbertine can help you with everything. We have trained staff members able to welcome schoolchildren of all ages and help them to shape their artistic and cultural education.
In this setting, two types of visit are available: unaccompanied visits and guided visits.

Schools offers can be consulted as of June, with visits starting in term time from September 2024.

Book my slot A confirmation of your booking will be sent to you, which you must bring with you to show at reception on the day of your visit.
The Inguimbertine reserves the right to not accept groups that failed to book or that do not arrive at the booked timeslot.
Reception opening hours for school trips
The multimedia library is open Tuesday to Friday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The museum exhibitions are open Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from April to September and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. from October to March. Closed in January.

To avoid crowding the reception and ticket office area, we kindly ask the leader of the group to come to the reception/ticket office alone to collect the tickets.
If applicable, these are paid for at the reception by card, cash, or cheque.
If a guided visit is cancelled, we need at least 72 hours of notice. If we do not have this notice, you will be charged for the visit.
Groups bigger than 25 children must be split into two smaller groups.
